The principal activity in the Arve Valley, (Technical Valley) this mechanical engineering industry, traditionally linked to clock making, has become very specialised and now works in the fields of state-of-the-art technology, particularly electronics. The range of its clients' activities is very wide: the automobile industry, electronics, household appliances, electricity and telecommunications, etc.
